“CuppyBar” or “Coffee House” website template was created in May, 2011. It is HTML5 website template with many useful and beautiful features, multiple pages, various scripts and CSS3 achievements.
Full list of features and particularities of this template is available on TF page.
As far as I noticed (as customers showed me not once their websites based on this template) it is used not only specifically for bars and restaurants as it was intended. It has pretty wide application (to my surprise)–from football team website up to local church website.
I received many questions about various technical points, but generally the questions repeated themselves many times and the most frequently asked one was about sliding background for index (home) page with Ken Burns effect.
I answered numerous times how to achieve same working status like shown on the demo. And I still keep receiving this question. Below I describe once again what is required in order to make the background to work like on my demo.
Main problem is though the point about how to settle background is mentioned in the Help file that it is missed by file readers. So, here is once again a solution: set your background images to at least 1920px x 1080px size. Why this size? Unlike rest of the pages where special script works for you and automatically resizes your background image according your screen resolution, the script used for the index (home) page does not work in the same way.
Therefore, considering owners of wide screens with high resolution it is the only correct way to make background be displayed and work. CSS for the fixed positioned div containing sliding image is set to 100% width, 100% height. That is why if you use smaller image it is simply will not show itself. You can rewrite CSS and set div dimensions for example 1280px x 1024px, but I think it is always better to mind people who use desktops with 1920px resolution and if you set your div and image size to 1280px you can imagine how the background will look, right?
In the comment box you can leave your feedback, opinion, impression about this template. It can help other people to decide whether to choose it to purchase or not. And thank you for your time!
